Forget all that ‘decorating’ guff wot T and I have been doing all weekend. This little fella is far more interesting.

I’m just glad he landed on an unpainted door instead of one of the many freshly gloss-painted bits of woodwork. Could’ve lost a leg or summink. I shall call him Fred.

Some of you have noticed the inaccesibility of m’blog lately: that’s cos I disabled my domain before it got shut down for me. Excessive bandwidth usage = Not Good. I’m pretty sure the excessive bandwidth (2.7 GB so far this month!) is due to all the spam comments that I’ve been diligently deleting every day.

Now, I noticed something rather useful on 34SP.com: a free upgrade for being a regular customer! I now have a 4GB bandwidth limit instead of 2GB, so m’blog is back online and I don’t have to worry about it being disappeared for ever! Hoorah!

Spose I’d better get on and upgrade WordPress and install the recommended anti-spam measures now, though

So, as I’ve not yet got round to upgrading wordpress so that I can install anti-spam stuff, my traffic allowance has been slightly exceeded this month due to all the viagra/rolex/etc-ad-nauseum spam comments. I’ve disabled all email notification relating to blog comments, to try and keep the traffic down, but that’s still not enough to prevent over 300 spam comments per day.
