Hmmm. It seems I’ve had a stroke of luck today. Shopping for a pressie for someone after work, I popped into Festival Place in Amazingstoke* and strolled into a home furnishing shop. Pressie duly acquired, I spied some nice BIG kilner jars at a fiver each so I grabbed three, justifying the already discounted price as ‘well, they’ll get used for years so ner’. I took the lot to the counter, paid up and only realised I’d only been charged for just one jar and the pressie when I got back to the car.
The dilemma is; should I go back tomorrow and hand over a tenner or should I simply enjoy the unsolicited bonus? There are numerous arguments in favour of each path. Obviously Karma on the one hand, on the other hand there’s the ‘well, that shop has always charged stupidly high prices for their tat these last few years so stuff ‘em’ kind of argument.
I’m sure the solution will present itself to me after a couple more delicious bottles of Tanglefoot.
Lots more happened on the wedding organising front today. If you could just roll a pair of imaginary drums for a moment please, an imaginary trianglist will be a long in a mo to give you a brief ‘ting’:

‹Even found time to do the grocery shopping AND the washing up this arvo. It’s too late. I _have_ been domesticated.›
*Nearly every shop seems to be threatening to close down and are almost giving customers their stock. Good time to do your Xmas shopping, I’d say. Or buy a new suit from Suits You, they’re banging ‘em out for stupid prices.
